| But why am i not happy about this? Has living in taiwan for 3.5 years really changed me all that much? Or do i just know the truth because I lived the true taiwan life and realized that it doesn't hold a candle next to living in Clean-cut suburbia-ville. Or is it all the bad memories and haunts of the past that still linger..
I really don't know, I haven't felt at peace since i arrived here. I kept thinking to myself "this doesn't feel right, this is so totally wrong, wth are we doing here.." But regardless of what i feel, I am Back in the OC.
No plans for ANYTHING. Just a lot of Finding out what to do. In short: in a week we must find
a. a place to live. Like LIVE. for my mom, sister and I. b. Find cars, one for now, but eventually 2. c. Open all appropriate accounts (banks and stuff) d. Apply for my sister's schooling. e. Look for a job (OMG HELP) f. basically get settled in asap
Oh forgot to mention, Budget is totally limited. Why the heck are we here when we can't even afford it. Seriously. Caution to the wind, huge risk, taking chance, adventure..time .. thingy.
Anyways, Let our family be a witness to God's ability to pull clutch. Cuz we're going to need it. I think we'll be pretty screwed with out some incredible, supernatural encounters and arrangements. seriously. so keep us in your thoughts and prayers =p
you can reach the only cell we have right now (being shared amongst all 4 of us, but will be remedied in a few days)..1 425 4437145

| Anyone who claims to be in the know when it comes to computer and electronic stuff know
Guang Hwa is the only place to do all your shopping. Those who shop at the NOVA near the train station = fail.
Guang Hua market place was originally a humble (shady) place tucked
away beneath an expressway on ramp near the zhongxiao xinseng. It
wasn't incredibly hospitable but damn it, if you couldn't find it there,
you couldn't find it anywhere. The place, to be honest, was pig
disgusting in terms of cleanliness. But like all things Taiwanese, the
more ghetto a place is inversely the more uber it becomes. This is
especially true of places to eat for some reason.. It was cramp, dark,
damp, but the walls were lined with just about anything you needed.
Haggling for cheaper prices was expected. Something you just don't do
at a formal establishment.

Before the MRT was built, getting here was a huge pain in the butt if
you didn't know the bus routes or have personal transportation. But
all that was going to change really soon.
The ever speedy expanding construction of the Taipei Metro reached this
part of town first and plans for the tearing down of the on ramp were in
order. What was to become of Guang Hwa now? The relocation of the Epic
market place did not sit well with the customers new and old but the
decision was final. It didn't take long for them to erect a temporary
holding area for these stores as metal shed like things were
constructed not too far from the original location.

*The tearing down of the overpass*

*the shoddy refugee camp that housed Guang Hwa for 3+ years*
The 光華鐵皮屋 is probably what most people know as Guang Hwa Market but look carefully in the background. A new monster lurks and quietly bides its time...
Anyone who's been to this Guang Hwa during the weekends (heck even the
weekdays) knows that it's an insane shopping experience. Hundreds and
hundreds of sweaty shoppers squeeze in and out of the crowds like
toothpaste trying to get to the next store. Along the way you'll be
asked "Can i help, do you need anything, if you need something please
ask us" at least 9000 times. But experienced shoppers have developed
immunity towards their advances. The less able shoppers can opt to wear
earphones to ignore them without seeming like a huge prick.
But this is what 光華鐵皮屋 looks like now:
Metal gates locked and forgotten, trash strewn everywhere. Not a soul
in sight. Abandoned. What in the world happened? Well, readers, its
time to unveil the new mothership. I present to you:

oh, yeah, gee thanks! Open this epic structure while i only have 3 weeks left in Taiwan.

Ok. I'm done fuming. It does not change the fact that i'll still be buying the game.. I should be happy even, that i can choose which platform i want to buy it on. I mean, i have all 3 after all, right? But josh has a point regarding the game's quality. Also:
"I will admit at first i was pretty pissed when I heard the news
because, for some reason, i thought that SE betrayed me. Once the dust
settled, i was like, "wait, I still get the game..." and my anger
subsided a bit. It doesn't piss me off the the xbox fanboys get an
amazing game, it's that I'm gonna have to wait longer to get it BECAUSE
the xbox is getting it. I would have no problem with Square porting it
to the 360 AFTER the ps3, but by making a simultaneous release in the
States means that we are going to have to wait until the ps3 version is
done in Japan, THEN wait for it to get translated for the ps3 AND get
ported to the 360. THIS is what is a kick in the balls to all the loyal
Square fans who have been waiting since the ps3 was announced to get
this game. I could care less that xbox is getting it, just give it to
us without FURTHER delaying this game."
